The standard distal cup large is the wider version of the distal cup with a distal measurement of 118mm (4.65in) for patients with larger distal ends. Having the wider base makes dawning and doffing the prosthesis much easier than tapering down the distal end of the socket. The standard cup height allows for the insertion of common height (1in) shuttle locks or elevated vacuum locks. With the European 4-hole pattern machined in to the base of the cup any attachable component with the same hole pattern will connect, not limiting the components that can be used.
